For those landowners wishing to manage their own vineyards and those training their own crews and managers, we provide general vineyard consulting services. We customize our assistance to our clients' needs. Contact us with your requirements, and we will provide a set of services to meet them.
Our consulting clients range from smaller backyard growers with just a few vines to bonded wineries with many acres of vines. We hold clinics several times per year to train vineyard managers and workers in the major techniques of the season - pruning in winter, shoot & cluster thinning in early summer, catch-wire management and cane positioning in midsummer, netting and hedging in late summer, and harvest analysis in the fall.
In many cases, we'll help owner's design the vineyard and trellis and select appropriate varietals. Owner's often hire their own labor to install the trellis and vines, and we then provide timely advice on maintenance tasks. We'll provide customized spray schedules, occasional vineyard reviews & pest/disease scouting and other services on an as-needed basis.
We also provide telephone and email consulting to vineyard owners on an hourly basis, and we accept Paypal for payment.
